The following indications are minimum requirements to run readyLIMS® with 5 users. readyLIMS® was developed to support a large number of users as well. In this case, a cluster of several servers can be more usefull instead of a single high-performance server. readyLIMS® can also be operated on virtualized systems. Depending on the requirements, the database can be operated on an independant database server as well. If an independant database server is used, every operating system, which is supported by the ORACLE 11g R2 software, can be used.

As a standard feature readyLIMS® is equipped with interfaces to send information from the system fully automated. The usage of these interfaces is optional. To send e-mails, text messages and faxes fully automated, a SMTP e-mail-user account, an e-mail-to-text message as well as an e-mail-to-fax gateway has to be available.
